Hi, I’m Brittany jackson, LMHCA
(Pronouns: she/her).
Brittany is a masters-level Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) working under and supervised by Dr. Tharp. She completed her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Diego and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz. Brittany provides counseling using a trauma-informed and integrative approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). This means she’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect, and is committed to supporting her clients as they navigate challenges related to emotional well-being, life transitions, and personal growth. She is currently being trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with the goal of incorporating EMDR into her clinical work. She is also working on integrating parts work approaches. Grounded in the belief that we’re all human—we all deserve care, understanding, and emotional support. Her goal is to provide a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s on your mind, discover your strengths, and feel supported as you navigate life’s challenges.
